''Derivative'' () is a 2005 Turkish drama film, written, produced and directed by Ulaş İnaç based on a short story by Miguel de Cervantes, about the complicated relationships between three people who confess their thoughts each evening to the camera for a movie project. The film, which went on nationwide general release across Turkey on , won the Golden Orange for Best Film at the 42nd Antalya "Golden Orange" International Film Festival. Plot Nazım (Güçlü Yalçıner) is a successful young Istanbul writer who is about to marry Süreyya (Gülçin Santırcıoğlu). Süreyya is not sure about Nazım's love and so she asks her best friend Burcu (Beste Bereket) to seduce him in order to test his fidelity. Reluctantly Burcu complies and then she falls in love. Gülçin Santırcıoğlu
Gülçin Santırcıoğlu (born July 25, 1977) is a Turkish actress. Biography She was born on 25 July 1977 in İzmir. She took opera lessons at Dokuz Eylül University Conservatory School of Performing Arts. Aside from her acting career, she worked as a soloist for various bands and taught singing courses at Ruhi Su Culture and Arts Foundation. The first movie she appeared in was ''Türev''. Released in 2005, it won the Best Film award at the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival. With her role as Süreyya in this movie, she was awarded as the Most Promising Actress at the 13th ÇASOD Awards. Her breakthrough came through her role in the hit period series ''Elveda Rumeli'', in which she portrayed the character of Hatice. Toygar Işıklı (born 16 April 1974) is a Turkish film score composer, music producer, and singer. Life He graduated from Gölcük Barbaros Hayrettin High School. He then moved to Istanbul and took his undergraduate major programme of vocal studies in Marmara University. He received his MA degree in composition master programme from Istanbul Technical University MIAM (Center for Advanced Studies in Music). Currently, he is having his postgraduate degree on musicology and music theory at Istanbul Technical University. Toygar Işıklı also studied film scoring in Berklee College of Music.
