Tømmernes Church
Tømmerneset Church ( or ) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Hamarøy Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Tømmerneset. It is one of the churches for the Sagfjord parish which is part of the Ofoten prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The white, wooden church was built in a Churches in Norway#Floor plan, long church style in 1952 using plans drawn up by the architect Eilif Dahl. The church seats about 110 people. or is a List of municipalities of Norway, municipality in Nordland Counties of Norway, county, Norway. It is part of the Districts of Norway, traditional district of Salten. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Oppeid. Other villages include Drag, Norway, Drag, Hellmobotn, Innhavet, Karlsøy, Nordland, Karlsøy, Korsnes, Presteid, Skutvika, Tømmerneset, Tranøya, Hamarøy, Tranøya, and Ulvsvåg. The municipality is the 36th largest by area out of the 357 municipalities in Norway. Hamarøy is the 243rd most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 2,729. The municipality's population density is and its population has increased by about 50% over the previous 10-year period (due to the enlargement of the municipality when part of Tysfjord Municipaltiy became part of Hamarøy in 2020).
