Tõnu Mellik
Tõnu Mellik (12 May 1934 Tartu – 3 June 1993 Tallinn) was an award-winning Estonian architect active in the mid-twentieth century. Early life Tõnu Mellik graduated from Tallinn Secondary School in 1952. He went on to study film direction at the Moscow State All-Union Institute of Cinematography. In 1953 he went on to study at the State Art Institute of the Estonian SSR (ERKI) and ultimately graduated in 1959. After graduation he worked in Tallinn from 1959 to 1962 and became a member of the Union of Architects in 1960. From 1964 to 1968 he worked as a senior engineer and junior researcher at the Institute of Building and Building Materials. Thereafter, he worked as an architect for the "Estonian Land Reconstruction Project" until 1975. From 1975 to 1987, he was a senior lecturer at ERKI. Tartu

Peep Jänes
Peep Jänes (born 26 December 1936 in Rakvere, Estonia) is an Estonian architect. He graduated from Tallinn Secondary School No. 2 (Tallinna Reaalkool) in 1955 and studied in the TPI from 1955 to 1958 and from 1958 to 1963 in the ERKI, where he graduated as an architect. Peep Jänes is one of Estonia's most important Soviet-era architects who developed daring formal solutions during difficult times. His five decades of work are characterized by well-publicized buildings and objects of significance. Peep Jänes has designed over 300 buildings, projects and competitions. He acted mainly during the Soviet period – 1970s and 1980s. His architectural style is predominantly modernist. Viimsi (german: Wiems) is a small borough ( et, alevik) in Harju County, Estonia, about northeast of the centre of Tallinn, just north of Tallinn's subdistrict Merivälja. Haabneeme
Haabneeme is a small borough ( et, alevik) in Viimsi Parish, Harju County, in northern Estonia alongside Viimsi. It's located about northeast of the centre of Tallinn, on the eastern coast of Tallinn Bay. With a population of 5,634 ( 2011 Census), Haabneeme is the largest settlement in the municipality. Haabneeme was first mentioned in 1271 as ''Apones''. During the Middle Ages Haabneeme was settled by Coastal Swedes. In the 1960s, Haabneeme garden city developed on both sides of the Rohuneeme road in the north.
