Támara Echegoyen
Támara Echegoyen Domínguez (born 17 February 1984 in Ourense) is an Olympic gold medal winning Spanish sailor. She has competed in four Olympics and she carried the flag in the 2024 Olympics Games opening ceremony on the River Seine, Life Echegoyen was born in Galicia in Ourense in north-west Spain. She was introduced to sailing aged five in Pontevedra. She was supported by her parents as they thought it would encourage good qualities. Maialen Chourraut
Maialen Chourraut Yurramendi (born 8 March 1983) is a Spanish slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level representing Spain since 2000. Chourraut has a full set of Olympic medals. She won the gold medal in the K1 event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. She went on to win a silver medal in the K1 event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Previously she won a bronze medal in the K1 event at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. She also competed in the K1 event at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, but was eliminated in the heats and finished in 16th place. Marcus Cooper Walz (born 3 October 1994) is a sprint canoeist. Born in England, he has competed internationally for Spain since the early 2010s. He won the gold medal in the K-1 1000 metres event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. He won the silver medal in the Men's K-4 500 metres event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo with Saúl Craviotto, Carlos Arévalo and Rodrigo Germade. Berta Betanzos Moro (born 15 January 1988 in Santander) is a Spanish sports sailor. She won the gold medal in the 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships (with Tara Pacheco) and the silver medal in the 470 World Championships of 2009 (also with Pacheco).
