Tynningö
Tynningö is an island in the central area of Sweden's Stockholm Archipelago. From an administrative perspective, it is located in Vaxholm Municipality and Stockholm County. As of 2015, the island has 380 permanent inhabitants, although this population increases significantly in summer. Tynningö is linked to the city of Stockholm and the town of Vaxholm by passenger ferries of the Waxholmbolaget, which serve a number of jetties on the island, including Höganäs, Norra Tynningö, Orrlunda and Norehill. It is also linked to Norra Lagnö on the island of Värmdö by the vehicle ferry route, operated by Trafikverket, which gives road access via the bridge to the mainland. Norra Lagnö is a locality situated on a peninsular on the northern shore of the island of Värmdö in Sweden's Stockholm archipelago. From an administrative perspective, it is located in Värmdö Municipality and Stockholm County and has 332 inhabitants as of 2010. Stockholm Archipelago
The Stockholm Archipelago () is the largest archipelago in Sweden, and the second-largest archipelago in the Baltic Sea (the largest being the Archipelago Sea across the Baltic in Finland). Part of the archipelago has been designated as a Ramsar site since 1989. Vaxholm Municipality
Vaxholm Municipality (, semi-officially ) is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. The municipal slogan is "Vaxholm – the capital of the archipelago", due to its central location in the archipelago. Its seat is located in the city of Vaxholm. From 1974 to 1984 Vaxholm was united with Österåker Municipality, making up a municipality called Vaxholm, but with the seat in Åkersberga. The Swedish Transport Administration () is a government agency in Sweden, government agency in Sweden, controlled by the Riksdag and the Government of Sweden. Värmdö (island)
Värmdö is an island in the innermost region of the Stockholm archipelago and covers an area of 181.40 km2, making it the largest island in the archipelago. Värmdö is after Gotland and Öland the third largest island on the eastern coast of Sweden. Värmdö lies in Stockholm County. Most of it forms part of Värmdö Municipality along with other islands, but the western end is part of Nacka Municipality, which lies mostly on the mainland, to which Värmdö is connected by a road bridge. Waxholms Ångfartygs AB, commonly referred to as Waxholmsbolaget, is a shipping company owned by Stockholm county council and is responsible for the seaborne public transport in the Stockholm archipelago and Stockholm harbour. Vaxholm is a city, urban area and the seat of Vaxholm Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden. It occupies the islands of Vaxön and Kullö in the Stockholm archipelago.
