Tutya Yılmaz
Tutya Yılmaz (born 4 June 1999 in Istanbul) is a Turkish female artistic gymnast who represented Turkey at the 2014 Youth Olympics and the 2016 Summer Olympics. In 2016, she was named Turkish Female Athlete of the Year. Early life Yılmaz was born in Bakırköy, Istanbul, Turkey in 1999, and started gymnastics at age 4. She attended Ekrem Elginkan High School in Istanbul. Career Junior 2013 In June, Yılmaz competed at the Olympic Hopes meet in Penza, Russia, where she placed fourth in the all-around, fifth on bars and floor, and won the bronze medal on beam. In July, she competed at the 2013 European Youth Olympic Festival, finishing 24th in the all-around and 12th with the Turkish team. 2014 Yılmaz competed at the 2014 Junior European Championships in Sofia. She did not make any finals, but her performance in qualifications earned her a spot at the Youth Olympic Games. 2015 European Games
The 1st European Games (), also known as the 2015 European Games or Baku 2015 (), were the inaugural edition of the European Games, an international multi-sport event for athletes representing the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) of the European Olympic Committees. It took place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 12 to 28 June 2015, and featured almost 6,000 athletes from 50 countries competing in 30 sports, including 15 summer Olympic and 2 non-Olympic sports. 2018 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 2018 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships was the 48th edition of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. The competition was held from October 25 – November 3, 2018, at the Aspire Academy Dome in Doha, Qatar. It was the first time that the competition was held in the Middle East. 2017 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 2017 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships was the forty-seventh edition of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. The competition was held from October 2–8, 2017, at the Montreal Olympic Stadium, Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The event marked the first time since 2003 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2003 that the Championships had been held in North America. TRT Spor
TRT 3 is a Turkish television channel. It mostly broadcasts sport events. History TRT 3 started test transmissions on October 2, 1989, as "3. Kanal" or TV3. TV2's reserve transmitters, which were under the jurisdiction of Türk Telekom, were handed over to the new network. TRT 3's transmissions are realized through a time-share with TRT GAP and Turkish Grand National Assembly TV (TBMM TV). 2016 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 31st European Championships in Women's Artistic Gymnastics Seniors and Juniors was held from 1 to 5 June 2016, at the PostFinance-Arena in Bern, Switzerland. It was the first time the city had hosted a major female international competition (it hosted the 1975 Men's European Gymnastics Championships), and was the first time Switzerland hosted the competition in the country. Göksu Üçtaş Şanlı
Göksu Üçtaş Şanlı (; born August 30, 1990, in Şahinbey, Gaziantep Province, Turkey) is a retired Turkish artistic gymnast. She was the first Turkish female artistic gymnast to compete at the Olympic Games, doing so at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Personal life Üçtaş was born in Şahinbey in 1990. She took up gymnastics when she was five years old. In 2008 she began studies at Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University, studying Physical Education and Sports. Üçtaş married fellow gymnast Özgür Şanlı in 2013. They welcomed their first child, a daughter named Lina, in 2015. Career 2006–2008 Üçtas became age-eligible for senior competition in 2006. She competed at the 2006 World Championships. In doing so she became the first female gymnast to represent Turkey at the World Championships.
