Turgay Avcı
Turgay Avcı is the deputy prime minister and minister of Foreign Affairs in the government of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. He was the Leader of the former Reform Party (Northern Cyprus). Biography Avcı was born in Larnaca in 1959. After graduating from Famagusta Namık Kemal High School he studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at American University of Beirut, graduating in 1985. He received his master's degree in Business Administration at the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) in 1992 and has a doctorate from Çukurova University on Administration and Organization. He attended trainings in USA and Germany in the fields of tourism, administration and quality. Turgay Bahadır (born 15 January 1984 in Vienna) is a Turkish former footballer. Career Bahadir began his career with First Vienna FC and won the youth championship in 1999. He was then scouted from SK Rapid Wien in the summer of 2000. He then left SK Rapid Wien and joined SC Austria Lustenau in the summer of 2003. After sixty games, he scored five goals for SC Austria Lustenau and moved on to join the league rival SC Schwanenstadt from the land of his ancestral estate Turkey in the summer of 2007. He then signed with Kayserispor for two years, playing forty-seven games and scoring four goals. Bahadir then joined Bursaspor in July 2009. Turgay Semercioğlu (born 25 February 1954) is a former Turkish footballer. He was a very successful player, playing for Trabzonspor and the Turkey national football team The Turkey national football team (), recognized as Türkiye by FIFA and UEFA, represents Turkey in men's international Association football, football matches. The team is controlled by the Turkish Football Federation (), the governing body for .... He played for Trabzonspor during their dominance of Turkish football. Turgay Şeren
Turkay Sabit Şeren (15 May 1932 – 7 July 2016) was a Turkish football player, who was a one-time goalkeeper of Galatasaray. He played for Galatasaray between 1947 and 1966 and was capped 52 times for Turkey, including two matches at the 1954 FIFA World Cup. Because of his saves against West Germany in 1951 in Berlin, he is nicknamed as "Berlin Panteri" (Panther of Berlin). He also coached Galatasaray. Şeren was awarded a testimonial match by the club in 1967 in Istanbul, inviting players like Ion Pârcălab, Lev Yashin and Ion Nunweiller. After his retirement, Şeren became a football columnist and a television commentator. He died at age 84 on 7 July 2016.
