Tumba is a bimunicipal urban areas of Sweden, locality and the seat of Botkyrka Municipality in Stockholm County, Sweden with 37,852 inhabitants in 2010. A part of its statistical Urban areas in Sweden, urban area, called Rönninge, is in Salem Municipality. The population is 35,311 (2005). Tumba francesa is a secular Afro-Cuban genre of dance, song, and drumming that emerged in Oriente, Cuba. It was introduced by slaves from the French colony of Saint-Domingue (which would later become the nation of Haiti) whose owners resettled in Cuba's eastern regions following the slave rebellion during the 1790s. ''La tumba'' () is a 1964 novel written in Spanish by Mexican author José Agustín. It is a short novel, originally written as a series of tales ("Tedium") in a literary workshop. Some people considered the novel controversial because it freely touched (and portrayed) topics like abortion and sex, but the writers' community praised it immensely. Despite the narrator's intellectual tone, the book was a huge editorial success, establishing José Agustín as a respected and profitable writer. The novel was Agustín's first work. La Tumba () is an underground detention facility of a tower in Caracas, Venezuela, that serves as the headquarters for the Bolivarian Intelligence Service (SEBIN). It was initially designed as offices for the Caracas Metro. History Design and construction The initial project for an office tower and metro station was designed by the Central University of Venezuela's Andres Bello Foundation Fund for Development to serve as the Corporate Tower of the Caracas Metro. In 2003, a plot of land was awarded for the project near Plaza Venezuela, near the geographical center of Caracas where many offices and other important locations are found. In July 2005, construction began on the project with more than $18 million invested into construction. Plans for the tower included a height of 16 stories as well as having five basement levels. The Kongo place stone figures called tumba (a Ki-Kongo word, pl. bitumba) on the graves of powerful people. Bitumba were created in Zaire and Angola during the nineteenth century and the first part of the twentieth. The term tumba comes from the Kikongo word "tumbama" which means "to be placed or set before". Tumba Bruk was the printing company responsible for the manufacturing of the Swedish krona banknotes. The company was founded by Sveriges Riksbank in 1755 to produce banknotes, making it the world's oldest factory of its kind. In 2002, the company was sold to the current owner, banknote paper supplier Crane & Co. It is located in Tumba, close to Stockholm.
