TuS Bersenbrück
Turn- und Sportverein Bersenbrück von 1895 e. V. is a German football club based in Bersenbrück, Lower Saxony. Founded in 1895, it plays in the Oberliga Niedersachsen in the fifth tier of the German football league system. History The club won the Lower Saxony Cup for the first time in 1990, thereby qualifying for the DFB-Pokal. In the first round, it lost 4–0 at home to Hannover 96. TuS Bersenbrück reached the state cup final again in 2019, losing the amateur final 3–2 to SV Atlas Delmenhorst. Four years later the club won the same event 3–0 against SC Spelle-Venhaus. Stadion an der Bremer Brücke or ''Bremer Brücke'' is a Stadium, football stadium in the Schinkel (Osnabrück district), Schinkel district of Osnabrück, Germany. It is used mostly for Association football, football matches and is the home stadium of VfL Osnabrück. The stadium currently holds 16,100 people and was opened in 1933. From the 1970s, the stadium consisted of the Grandstand ("South Stand"), two roofed terraces behind the goals ("East Stand" and "West Stand"), and an uncovered terrace opposing the grandstand ("North Stand"). Atlas Delmenhorst is a German association football club from the city of Delmenhorst, Lower Saxony, playing in the fifth-tier Oberliga Niedersachsen. The club, originally formed with a merger in 1973, discontinued in 2002 after declaring insolvency but was reformed a decade later in 2012. The club's previous greatest success was to play in the Regionalliga Nord, then at tier three level, for three seasons from 1995. The club has also made two appearances in the DFB-Pokal, first in 1980–81 and then again, after reforming, in 2019–20. History SV Atlas Delmenhorst was formed on 13 July 1973 when three local Delmenhorst clubs, FC Roland, VSK Bungerhof and SSV Delmenhorst, merged with the support of local building equipment manufacturer Atlas Weyhausen GmbH.
