Tscheu La Ling
Tschen La Ling (; born 6 January 1956) is a Dutch former professional footballer who most notably played for Ajax as a right winger. His name has been spelled in various ways throughout his career, but usually as Tscheu La Ling; he was generally uninterested in how it was spelled but revealed in a February 2007 interview that his name was officially Ling Tschen La. In June 2015, he was appointed to the advisory board of Ajax. Ling is the owner of Slovak football club AS Trenčín and a dietary supplement brand, Fitshape. Club career Born in The Hague to a Chinese father and a Dutch mother, Ling joined Ajax in 1975 from hometown club FC Den Haag. Despite winning the 1976–77, 1978–79, 1979–80 and 1981–82 Eredivisie titles while also reaching four Dutch Cup finals in a row between 1978 and 1981, Ajax could not replicate their early 1970s exploits. Martin Van Geel
Martin van Geel (born 27 November 1960 in Goirle) is a retired Netherlands, Dutch footballer who was active as a midfielder. Van Geel made his professional debut on at 24 August 1977 Willem II (football club), Willem II, and also played for AFC Ajax, Ajax, Roda JC and Feyenoord. After his playing career ended, Van Geel moved into the front offices of a number of Dutch football clubs, holding technical director positions at AZ Alkmaar, AZ, Ajax, Roda JC, Feyenoord, and most recently Willem II, which earned promotion back into the Eredivisie in 2024 under Van Geel's stewardship. It was announced on 16 May 2024 that, on 1 July, Van Geel would be stepping down from his position with Willem II and assuming the role of technical manager of the Eredivisie. KNVB Cup
The KNVB Beker (; ), branded as the TOTO KNVB Beker for sponsorship reasons, is a competition in the Netherlands organised by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) since 1898. It was based on the format of the English FA Cup. Outside the Netherlands, it is often referred to as the Dutch Cup. The tournament consists of all teams from the top four tiers of Dutch league football (Eredivisie, Eerste Divisie, Tweede Divisie and Derde Divisie), as well as the 24 semi-finalists (or replacements) of the six KNVB District Cups.
