''Trouble'' is the fourth studio album by American doom metal band Trouble, released on Def American on February 13, 1990. It was the first Trouble album to have Barry Stern on drums. Music videos were made for "At the End of My Daze," "Psychotic Reaction," "R.I.P.," and "The Misery Shows (Act II);" the music videos were released on the ''Videos'' DVD by the band's Trouble, Inc. label in 2007. The album was reissued and remastered by Hammerheart Records, cooperating alongside Trouble, Inc., on November 27, 2020. Trouble (band)
Trouble is an American doom metal band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 1978. They are often considered one of the pioneers of doom metal, and have been referred to as one of the genre's "big four" alongside Candlemass (band), Candlemass, Pentagram (band), Pentagram and Saint Vitus (band), Saint Vitus. The band created a distinct style, taking influences of the British heavy metal bands Black Sabbath and Judas Priest,Leif Edling, Trouble interview, ''Trouble Live In Stockholm'' DVD. and psychedelic rock of the 1960s. Gregory Fulginiti (born 1951) is an American recording and mastering engineer. He was nominated for the TEC Awards by '' Mix'' magazine six times, in 1985 and 1987–1991. Adam C. Dubin (born January 10, 1964) is an American filmmaker who co-directed the Beastie Boys music videos "(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)" and "No Sleep till Brooklyn" with Ric Menello. "Fight for Your Right" is number three on MTV's all time funniest music videos. Bruce Franklin (guitarist)
Bruce Franklin is an American musician. He is a founding member and guitarist for doom metal band Trouble. In 1979, he formed the band with his hometown friends Eric Wagner, Rick Wartell, Jeff Olson, and Ian Brown. After touring the Midwest and gaining popularity, Trouble was signed to Metal Blade Records in 1983. Franklin is also a member of the band Supershine featuring King's X frontman Doug Pinnick and longtime Trouble drummer Jeff Olson. Franklin appeared as a guest lead guitarist on Tourniquet's 2003 album '' Where Moth and Rust Destroy'', and again on their 2012 album '' Antiseptic Bloodbath''. Eric Wagner
Eric Wagner (April 24, 1959 – August 22, 2021) was an American heavy metal singer, best known for his work with doom metal band Trouble. Career Wagner formed Trouble in 1979. He briefly left the band in the mid-1990s and formed Lid with guitarist Daniel Cavanagh, resulting in 1997's ''In the Mushroom''. He also appeared on Dave Grohl's heavy metal side-project ''Probot'' in 2004 with the song "My Tortured Soul". He rejoined Trouble in 2000, and recorded one more album with them, '' Simple Mind Condition'' (2007), before leaving the band once again in May 2008 to pursue other musical interests and projects. Wagner had also been recording under the band name Blackfinger. He also formed The Skull, which features former Trouble bassist Ron Holzner. Death Wagner died from complications of COVID-19 in Las Vegas on August 22, 2021, at the age of 62. Barry Stern
Barry Stern (January 24, 1960 – April 1, 2005) was a heavy metal drummer from Chicago, Illinois. History Zoetrope and Trouble (1976-1995) From 1976 until 1988, he drummed for Zoetrope, for whom he also served as vocalist and songwriter. After recording two albums with that band, Stern joined Trouble in 1989. He appeared on two of their albums, 1990's '' Trouble'' and 1992's '' Manic Frustration'', before leaving in 1993. In 1994, Barry replaced Joe Hasselvander in Cathedral for touring purposes. American Recordings (formerly Def American Recordings, Inc.) is an American record label headed by producer Rick Rubin. Doom metal is an extreme subgenre of heavy metal music that typically uses slower tempos, low-tuned guitars and a much "thicker" or "heavier" sound than other heavy metal genres.K.
