Trosterud
Trosterud is a neighborhood in Alna borough in Oslo, Norway. The place is named after Trosterud farm. The farm is preserved and is located in Dr. Dedichens vei. Trosterud was developed in the 1960s and 1970s, but also had some small-house buildings before that. During the same period, trosterud center was completed. Today, the centre consists of a Kiwi shop, kiosk (MIX), youth club, medical centre and a physical institute. The centre's façade was refurbished in the autumn of 2013 and the youth club reopened in January 2014. The outdoor area has been given new lighting and planting. Trosterud school was established in 1969, and Trosterud station at Furusetbanen in 1974. The school closest to Trosterud is Lutvann School. Dr. Dedichens vei, which cuts through the area from Tvetenveien up to lake Lutvann, is named after Henrik Dedichen, who built a mental hospital at Trosterud in early 1901. Furusetbanen
The Furuset Line () is a long line on the Oslo Metro between Hellerud and Ellingsrudåsen in Oslo, Norway. Running mostly underground, it passes through the southern part of Groruddalen, serving neighborhoods in the boroughs of Alna and Furuset. The line is served by Line 2 of the metro with four or eight trains per hour. The line is owned by Kollektivtransportproduksjon and operated by Oslo T-banedrift on contract with Ruter using MX3000 trains. The section from Hellerud via Tveita to Haugerud opened in 1970. The line was extended to Trosterud in 1974, to Lindeberg and Furuset in 1978, and to Ellingsrudåsen in 1981. There are plans to extend the line further east through Lørenskog to Akershus University Hospital, and to build a branch from Furuset to the Grorud Line. Trosterud is a station on Furusetbanen (line 2 of Oslo T-Bane) in the Alna borough of Oslo between Haugerud and Lindeberg, 8.4 km from Stortinget. The station is located aboveground, but is inside the Trosterud shopping centre, and not an open-air station. Oslo T-bane
The Oslo Metro ( or or simply ) is the rapid transit system of Oslo, Norway, operated by Sporveien T-banen on contract from the transit authority Ruter. The network consists of five lines that all run through the city centre, with a total length of , serving 101 stations of which 17 are underground or indoors. In addition to serving 14 out of the 15 boroughs of Oslo, two lines run to Kolsås and Østerås, in the neighbouring municipality of Bærum. In 2016, the system had an annual ridership of 118 million. The first rapid transit line, the Holmenkollen Line, opened in 1898, with the branch Røa Line opening in 1912. Alna is a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway. It is named after the Alna River, River Alna, which flows through it. Oslo ( or ; ) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality.
