Trondhjem–Støren Line
The Trondhjem–Støren Line () was Trøndelag, Trøndelag's first railway. It opened on 5 August 1864, ten years after the Trunk Line between Oslo and Eidsvoll Municipality opened. The 49 kilometer long (later 51.1 km) railway line was narrow gauge railway, narrow gauged () and went between the city of Trondheim (city), Trondheim and the village of Støren (in what is now Midtre Gauldal Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway). The railway had its station, Trondhjem Kalvskinnet Station, in Prinsens gate, crossed the Nidelva river on a newly constructed railroad bridge to Elgeseter, the Elgeseter Bridge. Støren Station
Støren Station () is a railway station located in the village of Støren in Midtre Gauldal Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The station is located at the split between the Dovre Line and the Røros Line, with the former heading south via Gudbrandsdalen to Eastern Norway while the latter heads down Østerdalen to Eastern Norway. Brattøra
Brattøra is an artificial island and industrial area in the city of Trondheim which is located in Trondheim Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The island is located at the mouth of the river Nidelva just north of the city centre ( Midtbyen), west of Nyhavna, and south of Trondheimsfjord. There is a canal that divides the mainland from what is now the island of Brattøra. In addition to some commercial offices, most of the island is used by Trondheim Central Station and Trondheim Port. Meråker Line
The Meråker Line ( meːroːkərˌbɑːnən is a railway line which runs through the district and valley of Stjørdalen in Trøndelag county, Norway. The line branches off from the Nordland Line at Hell Station and runs eastwards to the Norway–Sweden border, with Storlien Station acting as the border station. The Røros Line () is a rail transport, railway line which runs through the districts of Norway, districts of Hedmarken, Østerdalen, and Gauldalen in Innlandet and Trøndelag, Norway. Elgeseter
Elgeseter is a neighborhood in the city of Trondheim in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the western part of the borough of Lerkendal in Trondheim Municipality. It is south and east of the river Nidelva, south of the neighborhoods of Midtbyen and Øya, west of Singsaker and north of Nardo.
