Tripwire Interactive LLC is an American video game developer and Video game publisher, publisher based in Roswell, Georgia. History Tripwire was co-founded by John Gibson and Alan Wilson with support by members of the international team that created ''Unreal Tournament 2004'' mod (computer gaming), mod ''Red Orchestra: Combined Arms''. ''Red Orchestra'' won top prize in the Nvidia-sponsored Make Something Unreal competition. Their first retail product, ''Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45'', was released over Valve Corporation, Valve's Steam (service), Steam service on March 14, 2006. Tripwire's second game, ''Killing Floor (video game), Killing Floor'', was released on May 14, 2009. Like ''Red Orchestra'', this game also began development as a mod for ''Unreal Tournament 2004'', later becoming a standalone retail title. ''Killing Floor'' is a cooperative first-person shooter video game developed and published by Tripwire Interactive. It was originally released as an ''Unreal Tournament 2004'' mod in 2005. A full retail release followed on May 14, 2009, for Microsoft Windows, and for OS X on May 5, 2010. A version for Linux was released via Steam in November 2012. Texas Heartbeat Act
The Texas Heartbeat Act, Senate Bill 8 (SB 8), is an Statute, act of the Texas Legislature that bans abortion after the Six-week abortion ban, detection of embryonic or fetal cardiac activity, which normally occurs after about six weeks of pregnancy. The law took effect on September 1, 2021, after the U.S. Supreme Court denied a request for emergency relief from Texas abortion providers. It was the first time a state has successfully imposed a six-week abortion ban since ''Roe v. Wade'', and the first abortion restriction to rely solely on enforcement by private individuals through civil lawsuits, rather than having state officials enforce the law with criminal or civil penalties.
