Triaditsa, Sofia
Triaditsa ( ) is a district located in the southern parts of Sofia. the population is 65,000. The district has an area of 9,8 km2. It includes three neighbourhoods: "Ivan Vazov", "Strelbishte" and "Gotse Delchev". Economy Triaditsa has a prosperous economy. The unemployment is only 3,7% which is more the two times smaller than the national average. There are no manufacturing plants in the territory of the district so the economy relies on services, trade, finance, tourism and administration. City Center Sofia Mall is located in the north-eastern edge of "Ivan Vazov" neighbourhood between Hilton Hotel Sofia and Hotel Hemus.Triaditsa Region is attractive for investments, especially Manastirski livadi. Park Center Sofia, formerly Park Center Sofia, is a shopping mall located in Sofia, Bulgaria, opened in the spring of 2006. Chitalishte
A ''chitalishte'' (, ) is a traditional Bulgarian public institution and building that fulfills several functions at once, such as a community centre, public library, and a theatre. It is also used as an educational institution, where people of all ages can enroll in foreign language, dance, music and other courses. In this function they could be compared to the folk high schools of Northern Europe. Some larger urban ''chitalishta'' are comparable to 92nd Street Y in New York City. Etymology The term ''chitalishte'' combines the Bulgarian Slavic root, ''chital-'' ("reading") and the suffix ''-ishte'' (a place where preceding verb happens). The National Palace of Culture (, ; abbreviated as , NDK), located in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, is one of the largest multifunctional conference and cultural centers in the world. It was opened in 1981 in celebration of Bulgaria's 1300th anniversary. The centre was initiated at the suggestion of Lyudmila Zhivkova, daughter of the communist leader of the former People's Republic of Bulgaria Todor Zhivkov. The Earth and Man National Museum (, romanized ''Natsionalen muzey „Zemyata i horata“'') is a mineralogy, mineralogical museum in the centre of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. It's one of the biggest Mineralogy, mineralogical museums in the world. It was founded on 1 January 1986 and opened for visitors on 19 June 1987.
