Trevecca Nazarene Trojans
The Trevecca Trojans are the athletic teams that represent Trevecca Nazarene University, located in Nashville, Tennessee, in intercollegiate sports at the NCAA Division II ranks. The Trojans moved from the NAIA to NCAA Division II in 2012–2013 and were a founding member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. In 2024-25, the Trojans moved their athletic teams to the Gulf South Conference. Trevecca Nazarene University
Trevecca Nazarene University (TNU) is a private Nazarene liberal arts college in Nashville, Tennessee. It was founded in 1901. History TNU was founded in 1901 by Cumberland Presbyterian minister J. O. McClurkan as the "Pentecostal Literary and Bible Training School". Part of the Pentecostal Alliance, it started offering bachelor's degrees in 1910, and the school's name was changed to Trevecca College for Christian Workers in 1911, after Trevecca College (now ''Coleg Trefeca'') in Wales. The school was located in downtown Nashville until 1914, when it was moved to East Nashville on Gallatin Road. In 1917, the campus suffered a disastrous fire, and its students and faculty temporarily transferred to Ruskin Cave College. The Vanderbilt Commodores are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent Vanderbilt University, located in Nashville, Tennessee. Vanderbilt fields 16 varsity teams (6 men's teams and 10 women's teams), 14 of which compete at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level as a member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The Lipscomb Bisons baseball team is the varsity intercollegiate baseball team of Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. The team competes in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I (NCAA), Division I and is a member of the ASUN Conference. Nolensville is a town in Williamson County, Tennessee. Its population was 13,829 at the 2020 census. It was established in 1797 by William Nolen, a veteran of the American Revolutionary War.
