Philosophy
Philosophy ('love of wisdom' in Ancient Greek) is a systematic study of general and fundamental questions concerning topics like existence, reason, knowledge, Value (ethics and social sciences), value, mind, and language. Humanistic Psychology
Humanistic psychology is a psychological perspective that arose in the mid-20th century in answer to two theories: Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory and B. F. Skinner's behaviorism. Thus, Abraham Maslow established the need for a "third force" in psychology. The school of thought of humanistic psychology gained traction due to Maslow in the 1950s. Cultural anthropology is a branch of anthropology focused on the study of cultural variation among humans. Transpersonal Psychiatry
Transpersonal psychology, or spiritual psychology, is an area of psychology that seeks to integrate the spirituality, spiritual and transcendence (philosophy), transcendent human experiences within the framework of modern psychology. Naropa University
Naropa University is a private university in Boulder, Colorado, United States.
