Its headquarters sit on the site of Germany’s first nuclear power plant—a facility that NUKEM itself decommissioned and restored—highlighting the company’s long-standing role in the country’s nuclear sector. Nukem Energy GmbH, with its subsidiary Nukem Inc., markets nuclear fuel products worldwide. Since it was founded in 1960, Nukem has transitioned from a uranium brokerage to one of the world's largest intermediaries in the international nuclear fuel market. Mühleberg Nuclear Power Plant
The Mühleberg Nuclear Power Plant (, KKM) is a formerly operational nuclear power plant in the Mühleberg municipality in the canton of Bern, Switzerland. Operated by BKW FMB Energie AG, the plant generated power from 6 November 1972 until 20 December 2019. Nuclear decommissioning of the plant began in January 2020 and is currently forecasted to be completed by 2034. The Zhangzhou Nuclear Power Plant () is a nuclear power station under construction in Lieyu Town, Yunxiao County, Zhangzhou on the coast of Fujian Province, in southeast China. Kursk Nuclear Power Plant
The Kursk Nuclear Power Plant (Kurskaya atomnaya electrostansaya in Russian) is one of the three biggest nuclear power plants (NPPs) in Russia and one of the four biggest electricity producers in the country.
