Torre BBVA México
The Torre BBVA México (" BBVA México Tower", formerly Torre BBVA Bancomer) is an office skyscraper on Paseo de la Reforma in Colonia Juárez, Mexico City. It is the headquarters of BBVA México, Mexico's largest bank. Upon its completion in 2015 it became the second tallest building in Mexico City at and 50 stories high. However by 2018 it is expected to be the fourth tallest in Mexico, after Torre KOI, Torre Reforma and Punto Chapultepec. The building was designed by LegoRogers, which is a collaboration between the architectural practices of Legorreta + Legorreta and Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners RSHP is a British architectural firm, founded in 1977 and previously known as the Richard Rogers Partnership which became Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners in 2007. Paseo De La Reforma
Paseo de la Reforma (literally "Promenade of La Reforma, the Reform") is a wide avenue that runs diagonally across the heart of Mexico City. It was designed at the behest of Maximilian of Mexico, Emperor Maximilian by Ferdinand von Rosenzweig during the era of the Second Mexican Empire and modeled after the great boulevards of Europe, such as the in Vienna and the Champs-Élysées in Paris. The planned grand avenue was to link the National Palace (Mexico), National Palace with the imperial residence, Chapultepec Castle, which was then on the southwestern edge of town. The project was originally named Paseo de la Emperatriz ("Promenade of the Empress") in honor of Maximilian's consort Empress Carlota. Torre Reforma
The Torre Reforma is an office skyscraper in Mexico City with a height of to the roof and housing 57 stories, in 2016 it became the tallest skyscraper in Mexico City, exceeding both Torre BBVA Bancomer at located just across the street, and Torre Mayor at located next to it. Construction began in May 2008. The complex hosts a restaurant, a shopping mall, entertainment areas and the DOOM International's Reforma Gym. Ricardo Legorreta Vilchis (May 7, 1931 – December 30, 2011) was a Mexican architect. He was a prolific designer of private houses, public buildings and master plans in Mexico, the United States and some other countries. The Torre KOI is a 64-story mixed-use skyscraper building complex located in the Valle Oriente district of the Monterrey Metropolitan Area.
