Tornyosnémeti is a village in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County in northeastern Hungary adjacent to the border with Slovakia. Like other small Hungarian villages, it has one small general store and a pub. Tornyosnémeti recently had the M30 motorway completed, allowing faster and easier road connection with Slovakia. Northern Hungary
Northern Hungary (, ) is a region in Hungary. As a statistical region it includes the counties Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Heves and Nógrád, but in colloquial speech it usually also refers to Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county.
