Tonček Štern (born 14 November 1995) is a Slovenian volleyball player who plays for ACH Volley and the Slovenia national team. With Slovenia, he was the runner-up of the European Volleyball Championship in 2019 and 2021. Personal life Štern has an older brother, Žiga, who is also a volleyball player. 2021 Men's European Volleyball Championship
The 2021 Men's European Volleyball Championship was the 32nd edition of the Men's European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, CEV. For the second time, the EuroVolley was held in four countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Estonia and Finland. The number of national teams that participated in the event remained to 24. In Poland, matches were played in Gdańsk, Katowice and Kraków. In Finland, matches were played in Tampere. In Czech Republic, matches were played in Ostrava. 2015 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship
The 2015 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship was the eighteenth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship, which was hosted by Mexico from 11 to 20 September 2015 in the cities of Mexicali and Tijuana. Russia, won the tournament after defeating Argentina 3-2 in the final match, thus securing the country's tenth title and the third in a row, after winning the editions of 2011 in Brazil and 2013 in Turkey. FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship
The FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship, called the FIVB Volleyball Men's Junior World Championship between 2007 and 2011, is the world championship of volleyball for male players under the age of 21 organized by ''Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' ( FIVB). The first edition was staged in 1977 in Brazil and tournaments have been played every four years for the first three editions and every two years since then. The most recent tournament was hosted by Bahrain in the city of Manama and won by Iran. In July 2023, FIVB announced the increase of teams from 16 to 24 and that the tournament would be staged in even-numbered years starting in 2026 in combination with the U17 World Championships, to ensure progressive participation of athletes in their respective age group categories. Greek Volleyball Cup
The Greek Volleyball Cup is organized by Hellenic Volleyball Federation and started in 1980–81 season. The competition was not held sometimes in the past for financial reasons . Olympiacos won the first Cup in 1981 and is the most successful club, having won the title 18 times. They are also the current Cup holders. In 1986–87 edition, teams from the 1st Division did not take part. In 1998, Final 4 was established. In the period 2003–07, Final 8 were held. From 2003 to 2012 only the 1st Division teams competed for the trophy. From 2013 the participating clubs come from all divisions.
