Tomás Ángel Gutiérrez (born 20 February 2003) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Major League Soccer club San Diego FC. Born in England, he most recently represented Colombia at youth level. Early life Ángel was born on 20 February 2003 to former footballer Juan Pablo Ángel, while Juan Pablo was playing in England for Aston Villa. Because of this, Tomás Ángel was born in Birmingham, England. Ángel inherited his passion for football from his father, and would accompany his father to training when he was playing for the New York Red Bulls. His elder brother Gerónimo is a musician, actor and model who featured on Colombian kid's talent show, , while his younger brother Pascual is also a footballer. The 2023 Superliga Colombiana (officially known as the Superliga BetPlay Dimayor 2023 for sponsorship purposes) was the twelfth edition of the Superliga Colombiana, Colombia's football super cup tournament organized by DIMAYOR. The 2023 Categoría Primera A season (officially known as the 2023 Liga BetPlay Dimayor season for sponsorship purposes) was the 76th season of the Categoría Primera A, Colombia's top-flight football league. The season began on 24 January and ended on 13 December 2023. Two tournaments (Apertura and Finalización) were played in the season, each one of them being an independent championship. Paulo Autuori de Mello (born 25 August 1956), known as Paulo Autuori, is a Brazilian football executive and coach. He is the current manager of Peruvian club Sporting Cristal. Early life A football fan since early childhood and a futsal player, Autuori had to give up his dream of becoming a professional footballer after contracting poliomyelitis in his teens. The disease left him with an atrophied leg and a permanent limp on his walk, which prevented him from playing. However, he did not give up his dream of being part of the footballing world, and decided to learn other aspects of the game, specifically becoming a manager. Pedro Enrique Sarmiento Solís (26 October 1956 – 30 October 2024) was a Colombian football manager and player. Playing career Club Born in Medellín, Sarmiento played for Atlético Nacional and América de Cali during his professional career. After winning several national club titles he became a trainer. In 2004, he won the fourth title for Independiente Medellín. International Sarmiento made 37 appearances for the senior Colombia national team from 1980 to 1985, including participating in nine qualifying matches for the 1982 and 1986 FIFA World Cups and the 1983 Copa América.
