Tomás Moylan
Tomás Moylan (born 1969) is an Irish former hurler who played as a left corner-forward for the Offaly senior team. Moylan joined the team during the 1993–94 National League and was a member of the team for just one seasons. An All-Ireland winning captain in the minor grade, he failed to win any honours at senior level. St Rynagh's GAA
St Rynagh's () is the name of two Gaelic Athletic Association sister clubs that encompass the towns of Cloghan and Banagher in County Offaly, in Ireland. The St Rynagh's Football Club is based in Cloghan and wear green and white hooped jerseys; the St Rynagh's Hurling Club is based in Banagher and wear blue and gold jerseys. History Formed in 1961, to represent the parish of Cloghan and Banagher, the club gained almost immediate success - winning the senior hurling championship in 1965. Offaly Senior Hurling Championship
The Offaly Senior Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Molloy Environmental Senior Hurling Championship) is an annual hurling competition contested by top-tier Offaly GAA clubs. The Offaly County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association has organised it since 1896. Kilcormac–Killoughey are the title-holders, defeating Ballinamere by 0–16 to 1–11 in the 2024 final. History The title has been won at least once by 12 different teams. The all-time record-holders are Coolderry, who have won a total of 31 titles. The 1987 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship was the 57th staging of the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1928. Offaly entered the championship as the defending champions. On 6 September 1987, Offaly won the championship following a 2-8 to 0-12 defeat of Tipperary in the All-Ireland final. Michael Hogan (hurler)
Michael Hogan (1968 – 10 November 2024) was an Irish hurler. At club level he played with Birr and was also a member of the Offaly senior hurling team. Hogan had a successful career across various levels. An All-Ireland Club SHC-winner with Birr, he captained Offaly to their very first All-Ireland MHC title in 1986. Hogan later lined out with the senior team and was part of the National Hurling League-winning team in 1991. Hogan died on 10 November 2024, at the age of 56. Lucan Sarsfields GAA
Lucan Sarsfields ( Irish: ''Sáirséalaigh Leamhcáin'' ) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Lucan, Dublin, Ireland. Founded in 1886, Sarsfields were one of 16 teams which contested the Dublin Senior Championship in 1887. They were also involved in the Senior Championship of 1892, and the club has fielded Gaelic football, hurling and camogie teams ever since. History Early years Lucan won the Intermediate Football League in the 1904–05 season. It is reported that they did this with the help of five players from France.
