Tomás Lecanda
Tomás Leonardo Lecanda (born 29 January 2002) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Ecuadorian club San Martín SJ, on loan from Tigre. Career Lecanda is product of River Plate's youth academy, having joined in 2011. On 27 September 2019, he signed his first professional contract with his childhood club. Lecanda made his professional debut with River Plate in a 2–1 Copa Libertadores win over Independiente Santa Fe on 19 May 2021; the game was noteworthy as River Plate was hit by a COVID-19 outbreak, resulting in them having no substitute players, and their outfielder Enzo Pérez had to play as goalkeeper. In January 2022, Lecanda was loaned out to Barracas Central until the end of the year. Martínez is a city in San Isidro Partido, Buenos Aires Province. It is part of Greater Buenos Aires, and effectively a suburb of Buenos Aires. It is served by a commuter train service, the Tren Mitre, also the Tren de la Costa tourist railway line, and many buses. The Granatkin Memorial () is a youth association football tournament which traditionally features invited national teams composed of U-17/U-18/U-19 players. The tournament is held in Saint Petersburg since 2006 (previously in Moscow and Leningrad / Saint Petersburg), and since 2017 the final is held in summer (previously indoors in winter). Tournament history In 1981 in Moscow started the first Granatkin Memorial – the International youth football tournament initiated by the FIFA President Joao Havelange to perpetuate the memory of the FIFA First Vice-President Valentin Granatkin. The South American U-17 Championship (; ), branded as CONMEBOL Sub 17, is a association football, football competition held every two years for South American under-17 teams.
