Tomislav Tomović ( sr-cyr, Томислав Томовић; born 13 May 1983) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player who is an assistant coach for Mega Basket of the ABA League. Professional career A point guard, Tomović played for Crvena zvezda, Yambolgaz 92, Banjalučka pivovara, Bosna, Panionios, Mega Aqua Monta, and Zrinjski. National team career In July 1999, Tomović was a member of the Yugoslavia U16 national team that won the gold medal at the European Championship for Cadets in Slovenia. Over eight tournament games, he averaged 2.1 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per game. Coaching career In August 2012, Tomović was hired as an assistant coach for OKK Beograd under Srđan Jeković. ABA League
The ABA League, renamed to the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the 1st-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from the former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia). Due to sponsorship reasons, the league was also known as the Goodyear League from 2001 to 2006, the NLB League from 2006 to 2011, and as the AdmiralBet ABA League from 2021. FIBA U16 European Championship
The FIBA U16 European Championship, previously known as the FIBA Europe Championship for Cadets, is a youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1971 edition. Through the 2003 edition, it was held every second year, but since the 2004 edition onward, it is held every year. It serves as the qualification tournament for the FIBA Under-17 World Cup in odd years, for the FIBA Europe region. The current champions are Lithuania. Srđan Jeković ( sr-cyr, Срђан Јековић, born 17 October 1967) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player. Playing career During his playing days, Jeković played for his hometown clubs Železničar and Borac, as well as Kolubara, Beopetrol, AZS UMK Toruń (Poland), S.C. Lusitânia (Portugal), and Prokupac. The 2014 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship was the 31st edition of the FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship. 16 teams participated in the competition, held in Konya, Turkey, from 24 July to 3 August 2014.
