Tomislav Mijatović
Tomislav Mijatović (born 1976) is a Croatian professional basketball coach. He is currently the assistant coach for Anadolu Efes of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi and the EuroLeague.He is also the head coach of the Croatian national team. Coaching career Mijatović was an assistant coach at Cibona Zagreb from 2001 to 2003. During the 2002–03 season, he temporarily replaced the suspended Aleksandar Petrović as head coach. In 2007, Mijatović again became an assistant coach at Cibona. When Cibona's head coach Velimir Perasović moved to Anadolu Efes in Turkey in 2010, Mijatović was considered as his successor at Cibona. However, Mijatović followed Perasović to Anadolu Efes. As an assistant coach, Mijatović won the EuroLeague with the team in 2021 and 2022 and was also crowned Turkish champion and cup winner three times each. Basketball coaching is the act of directing and strategizing the behavior of a basketball team or individual basketball player. Basketball coaching typically encompasses the improvement of individual and team offensive and defensive skills, as well as overall physical conditioning. Coaches also have the responsibility to improve their team by player development, strategy, and in-game management. Coaches also teach and inspire their team to be their best. 2022 Turkish Basketball Cup
The 2022 Turkish Basketball Cup (), also known as Bitci Erkekler Türkiye Kupası for sponsorship reasons, was the 36th edition of Turkey's top-tier level professional national domestic basketball cup competition. The quarterfinals of tournament were held from 15 to 16 February 2022 in 4 different locations and then semi-finals and the final were held from 18 to 20 February 2022 in the Tofaş Nilüfer Spor Salonu in Bursa, Turkey. Ergin Ataman
Halil Ergin Ataman (born January 7, 1966) is a Turkish professional basketball coach, currently managing Panathinaikos of the Greek Basketball League (GBL) and the EuroLeague. He is also the head coach of the Turkish national team. During his playing career which began in 1982, he played for the Eczacıbaşı and Yeşilyurt basketball clubs in the amateur area. Ataman is considered the most successful coach in Turkish basketball history and one of the most successful coaches in Europe, having won three Euroleague titles (2021, 2022 and 2024). Velimir Perasović (; born 9 February 1965) is a Croatian professional basketball coach and former player. He is serving as the head coach for the Russian team BC UNICS, UNICS Kazan of the VTB United League. Croatia Men's National Basketball Team
The Croatia men's national basketball team () represents Croatia in international basketball matches. The team is controlled by the Croatian Basketball Federation (HKS).
