Tomaž Kavčič
Tomaž Kavčič (born 28 November 1953) is a Slovenian football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. Kavčič was the manager of the Slovenian national team between 2017 and 2018, and Slovenian under-21 team for eight years between 2008 and 2014; he was also an assistant manager of the national team manager Srečko Katanec between 2016 and 2017. While playing for Gorica he scored his debut goal in the Slovenian PrvaLiga aged 38 years and 4 months, which is still a Slovenian record. Managerial career After finishing his playing career he took his first coaching job as assistant manager to Milan Miklavič at Gorica in 1995 where he worked until 1997 and got his first experience in the Slovenian top tier. Novo Mesto
Novo Mesto (; ; also known by #Name, alternative names) is the List of cities and towns in Slovenia, seventh-largest city of Slovenia. It is the economic and cultural centre of the traditional region of Lower Carniola (southeastern Slovenia) and the seat of the City Municipality of Novo Mesto. It lies on a bend of the Krka (Sava), Krka River, close to the border with Croatia. Name Novo Mesto was attested in historical sources in 1365 as ''Růdolfswerde'' (and as ''Rudolfswerd'' in 1392 and ''Noua Mesta'' in 1419). Robert Berić
Robert Berić (born 17 June 1991) is a Slovenian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Chinese Super League club Changchun Yatai. In the 2014–15 season, he ranked 11th in the European Golden Shoe award. Slovenian PrvaLiga
The Slovenian PrvaLiga (, ), currently named Prva liga Telemach due to sponsorship reasons, also known by the abbreviation 1. SNL, is the top level of the Slovenian football league system. Contested by ten clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Slovenian Second League (2. SNL). Seasons typically run from July to May with each team playing 36 matches. The competition was founded in 1991, after Slovenia became an independent country.
