Tjun Tjun
Tjun Tjun (; born 4 October 1952) is an Indonesian badminton player. Though a world level singles player early in his career, he became one of the sport's greatest ever doubles specialists. His game was notable for its speed, power, accuracy, and aggressiveness. Tjun Tjun became world champion in men's doubles with Johan Wahjudi at the very first IBF World Championships held in 1977. They also won 6 of the 7 All England Open Badminton Championships held from 1974 through 1980. They were clearly the world's number one team during this period, often beating fellow countrymen Christian Hadinata and Ade Chandra in the finals of major events. The duo were the first ever men's doubles world number one in the first IBF world ranking release in 1978. Johan Wahjudi
Johan Wahjudi (; 10 February 1953 – 15 November 2019) was an Indonesian badminton player. Though he played some singles at the international level early in his career, he soon became a doubles specialist noted for his alert and consistent play alongside his more mercurial partner Tjun Tjun. The duo became the first ever men's doubles world number one in the first IBF world ranking release in 1978. Career Wahjudi and Tjun won men's doubles in the IBF's first World Championships in 1977. Malmö Isstadion (Malmö Ice Stadium) is an indoor arena, indoor sports arena located in the Stadionområdet, Malmö, Stadionområdet area of Malmö, Sweden. The Badminton World Federation, aka BWF, is the international sports governing body, governing body for the sport of badminton approved by the International Olympic Committee. It was founded on 5 July 1934 as the International Badminton Federation with nine member nations: Canada, Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland and Wales. In 1981, the IBF merged with the World Badminton Federation, and on 24 September 2006, at the Extraordinary General Meeting in Madrid, the name of the organization was changed to Badminton World Federation. Liang Qiuxia
Liang Qiuxia ( W.-G. Liang Chiu Hsia, born, Cirebon, West Java; 9 September 1950) is a former badminton player representing China, after migrating from Indonesia. She is also the sister of 6 time All-England Men Doubles Champion, Tjun Tjun, who represented Indonesia. Liang Qiuxia was one of the most important Chinese badminton players of the 1970s. During this era China belonged to the WBF, which it sponsored, and the larger IBF, so that Liang Qiuxia could rarely compete with the best of the world. Rudy Hartono Kurniawan (born Nio Hap Liang ( zh, s=梁海量, p=Liáng Hǎiliàng, poj=Niô͘ Hái-liâng); 18 August 1949) is an Indonesian former badminton player holding the record of winning the men's singles title at the All-England Championship eight times, including seven times consecutively from 1968 to 1974. Ade Chandra ( zh, t=張鑫源; born 4 February 1950) is an Indonesian retired badminton player. Career A doubles specialist of ample bulk by Indonesian standards, he was noted for his power and quick defensive reflexes. With the formidable Christian Hadinata he won numerous international men's doubles titles between 1972 and 1980, including a pair of All-England titles, though they were often runners-up to fellow countrymen Tjun Tjun and Johan Wahjudi at major events .
