Titãs Trio Acústico
''Titãs Trio Acústico'' is the sixteenth studio album by Brazilian rock band Titãs Released throughout 2020 by the BMG Rights Management, BMG label, the EPs bring together acoustic versions of a total of 24 songs previously released by the group. Initially divided into three EPs throughout 2020, the disc won a full version on January 29, 2021, also on a physical double CD, bringing together the 24 tracks from the three EPs. The project was conceived to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Acústico MTV (Titãs album), their ''Acústico MTV'' album, released in 1997; since in 2017 they were focusing on their rock opera ''Doze Flores Amarelas'', the celebration wasn't possible until 2020. Titãs
Titãs (, Portuguese for Titans) are a Brazilian Rock music, rock band from São Paulo. Though they primarily are classified as a rock band, the band have also experimented with genres such as New wave music, new wave, punk rock, ska, grunge, Música Popular Brasileira, MPB and electronic music. They are one of the most successful rock bands in Brazil, having sold more than 6.3 million albums as of 2005 and having been covered by several well-known Brazilian artists and a couple of international singers. They were awarded a Latin Grammy in 2009 and have won the Imprensa Trophy for Best Band a record four times. MTV (Brasil)
MTV Brasil was a Brazilian over-the-air television network owned by Grupo Abril focused on the youth and entertainment. The network was launched on 20 October 1990, as the first specialty television network to broadcast over-the-air, becoming the local version of MTV. It was the third MTV iteration launched in the world, and the first to broadcast via terrestrial television. The network headquarters was at 52 Avenida Professor Alfonso Bovero, Sumaré, São Paulo city, which was formerly the headquarters of Rede Tupi.
