Timo Zahnleiter
Hans-Dieter "Timo" Zahnleiter (born 16 December 1948) is a German former professional football player and manager who played as a midfielder. Playing career Zahnleiter started his professional career in 1967 when he played for VfR Mannheim until 1971. He spent the next three years in 1860 Munich, a 2. Bundesliga team at the time, where in 1973 he suffered from injuries. In the summer of 1974, he moved to Greece and transferred to AEK Athens along with fellow countryman Walter Wagner. Zahnleiter played in the center and was distinguished mainly for his blocking skills, however, from the second year he was placed on the left end of the defense by František Fadrhonc, since the latter believed that this way AEK would achieve more beauty in their game. At AEK he suffered from injuries again and finally in 1977 he was released and returned to Germany to undergo surgery. The Landesliga () is a tier of football in some states of the German football league system. In Bavaria, Saxony, Thuringia, Bremen, Lower Saxony and Hamburg, the Landesligas are set right below the Oberliga and therefore are the sixth tier. The reason for this is that Bavaria, Hamburg, Lower Saxony, and Bremen are the only places in Germany where the Oberliga, the State, and the Verband are geographically the same, while the other two states simply chose to call their leagues ''Landesligas'' when establishing them in 1990. In the Middle Rhine and Lower Rhine regions of North Rhine-Westphalia it is also, since 2012, the sixth tier. Sportverein Darmstadt 1898 e.V., commonly known as Darmstadt 98 (), is a German professional association football club based in Darmstadt, Hesse. The club was founded on 22 May 1898 as FC Olympia Darmstadt. Early in 1919, the association was briefly known as ''Rasen-Sportverein Olympia'' before merging with Darmstädter Sport Club 1905 on 11 November that year to become Sportverein Darmstadt 98. Merger partner SC was the product of a 1905 union between Viktoria 1900 Darmstadt and Germania 1903 Darmstadt. František Fadrhonc
František Fadrhonc (18 December 1914 – 9 October 1981) was a Czech football manager, who was born in Nymburk, Austria-Hungary, present day Czech Republic. He coached many teams in Europe, mostly in the Netherlands. After winning the Dutch championship with Willem II Tilburg in 1952 and 1955, he coached SC Enschede and Go Ahead Eagles. In 1970, he took over the Netherlands national team and was their coach as they qualified for the 1974 FIFA World Cup, besting, among others, their rivals Belgium. However, it was Rinus Michels who took over in 1974 and who led them in the finals of that tournament. Fadrhonc left the Netherlands for Greece to coach AEK Athens in the 1975–76 football season. He stayed until 1977. During that period, he led AEK to the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup in the 1977.
