Timmy Hill
Timothy Grant Hill (born February 25, 1993) is an American professional stock car racing driver and team owner. He competes part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 56 Toyota Tundra for his team, Hill Motorsports, and part-time in the ARCA Menards Series East, driving the No. 56 Toyota Camry for the same team. He previously competed part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series. Hill was born in Port Tobacco, Port Tobacco, Maryland, and began racing go-karts at the age of 12. In karting, he won two World Karting Association championships, two King George Speedway track championships, and the Concord Speedway Winter Championship. Afterward, Hill raced in Legend car racing, Legend cars, the Allison Legacy Series, the K&N Pro Series East, and the ARCA Racing Series. The Apple Barrel 125 is an ARCA Menards Series East (formerly a NASCAR K&N Pro Series East) race held annually at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The track held a second race in the month of September, the Apple Barrel 125, for two years in 2018 and 2019. For the 2020 season, the track was reduced back down to one race, which was this one, and the United Site Services 70, the original race at the track that was run in July each year, was dropped. Rockingham Speedway and Entertainment Complex (formerly known as North Carolina Speedway from 1998 to 2007 and North Carolina Motor Speedway from 1965 to 1996) is a D-shaped oval track in Rockingham, North Carolina, United States. The ARCA Menards Series East has held several races at Rockingham Speedway in Rockingham, North Carolina over the years. Charlie Glotzbach won the inaugural event in 1973. In 2024, it was announced that the ARCA Menards Series East would return as a support race of the NASCAR Truck Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series races. Salem Speedway
Salem Speedway is a long paved oval racetrack in Washington Township, Washington County, near Salem, Indiana, United States, approximately south of Indianapolis. The track has 33° degrees of banking in the corners. Major auto racing series that run at Salem are ARCA and USAC. History It opened in 1947; two drivers were killed on the first lap of the first race. The track received major storm damage in 1981 and it was not used until 1987. A thunderstorm had ripped the roof off the grandstands and fences were damaged. Don Gettelfinger Sr. bought the track in 1987 and he replaced the fence with concrete. Stock car racing events in the ARCA Menards Series have been held at Salem Speedway in Salem, Indiana since 1955. The track currently hosts one race for the series, currently known as the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200. History ARCA (then known as MARC) first raced at Salem Speedway in 1955, with Jack Harrison (racing driver), Jack Harrison winning the inaugural race. Unfortunately, during this race, Ray Duhigg was killed when his car flew out of the track in turn 1. 2010 ARCA Racing Series
The 2010 ARCA Racing Series presented by Re/MAX and Menards was the 58th season of the ARCA Racing Series. The season began on February 6 with the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 and ended on October 9 with the American 200 presented by Black's Tire and Auto Service. Patrick Sheltra, driving for his own team, Sheltra Motorsports, won the championship. This season was notable for the season-opening race, the 2010 Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 at Daytona, which had the largest audience of any ARCA event in the history of the series with 2.4 million viewers tuning in on the Speed Channel. Talladega Superspeedway (Alabama International Motor Speedway from 1969 to 1989) is a tri-oval superspeedway in Lincoln, Alabama.
