Tim Regan
Tim Regan (born June 27, 1981) is a former American soccer defender, and coach who currently is the head coach for the Bradley Braves men's soccer program. College Regan played college soccer at Bradley University from 1999 to 2002, where he established himself as one of the best players in the program's history. After starting 20 games as a freshman, Regan was named second-team All-Missouri Valley Conference as a sophomore, after registering two goals and two assists from a defensive midfield position. Regan was moved to defense as a junior, and proved more than up to the task - he finished the year as a first-team All-MVC winner, and the team's co-MVP with Gavin Glinton. Regan remained at defense as a senior and performed even better, winning MVC Defensive Player of the Year while being instrumental in the team posting a 0.81 goals against average. Peoria City is an American soccer club from Peoria, Illinois, that plays in the Heartland Division in USL League Two. The team's colors are gold and black. History The club was founded by former K–W United owner Barry MacLean along with John Dorn with former Major League Soccer player Tim Regan serving as the inaugural head coach. USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States, forming part of the United States soccer league system. The league will feature 144 teams for the 2025 season, split into nineteen regional divisions across four conferences. USL League Two is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. Jim DeRose
Jim DeRose (born c. 1967 in Cinnaminson Township, New Jersey) is an American former soccer player and coach who spent most of this managerial career at Bradley University. He also spent one professional season as a goalkeeper with the New Mexico Chiles in the American Professional Soccer League. Player DeRose attended Johnson State College, playing on the men's soccer team from 1985 to 1988. He was an NAIA first team All American and the New England Player of the Year in 1988. He graduated in 1989 with a bachelor's degree in secondary education. In 1990, DeRose spent one season with the New Mexico Chiles of the American Professional Soccer League. Juergen Sommer
Juergen Petersen Sommer (born February 27, 1969) is an American former professional soccer player and coach. He became the first American goalkeeper to play in the FA Premier League, when he signed to play for Queens Park Rangers in 1995. He has served as the United States national team goalkeeping coach. Later on, Sommer coached Indy Eleven in the NASL. Youth and college Sommer played soccer at Culver Military Academy in Culver, Indiana where he was an All-American. After graduation, Sommer walked on at Indiana University, where he quickly became the starting goalkeeper in 1987. He was named ''Collegiate Goalkeeper of the Year'' in 1990. The North American Soccer League (NASL) was a professional men's soccer league based in the United States. The league was named for, but had no connection to, the original North American Soccer League. The later NASL was founded in 2009, and began play in 2011 with eight teams. Edson Michael Buddle (born May 21, 1981) is an American former professional soccer player who is currently the head coach of USL League Two side Westchester Flames. He is one of only 13 players to have scored 100 goals in Major League Soccer history.
