Tim Ravenscroft
Timothy John Ravenscroft (born 21 January 1992) is a former Guernsey cricketer. Ravenscroft was spotted by the Guernsey Cricket Association at an early age, after which he began playing age group cricket for Hampshire from the age of eleven after being spotted by Rajesh Maru when he visited Guernsey. Ravenscroft spent the next five years flying between Guernsey and England, however at the age of 16 he took a break from cricket to concentrate on his education. He was educated on Guernsey at Elizabeth College, St Peter Port. He first appeared for the Guernsey senior team in 2008 in a friendly against Kenya at the County Ground, Hove. Later in 2008, he played for Guernsey in the 2008 European Cricket Championship Division Two. Following his break from county cricket, Ravenscroft decided to once again pursue a career in the game in 2008, after declaring that intention he was offered a contract by Hampshire. Guernsey
Guernsey (; Guernésiais: ''Guernési''; french: Guernesey) is an island in the English Channel off the coast of Normandy that is part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey, a British Crown Dependency. 2011 English Cricket Season
The 2011 English cricket season was the 112th in which the County Championship had been an official competition. It began on 2 April with a round of university matches, and continued until the final of the Clydesdale Bank 40 on 17 September. Three major domestic competitions were contested: the 2011 County Championship won by Lancashire, the 2011 Clydesdale Bank 40 won by Surrey and the 2011 Friends Life t20 won by Leicestershire. During this season, two Test teams toured England: Sri Lanka lost both the Test series (1–0) and the One Day International (ODI) series (3–2), but won the solitary Twenty20 International (T20I). 2015 ICC Europe Division One
The 2015 ICC Europe Division One was a cricket tournament held in Jersey from 9–13 May 2015. The tournament was organised by ICC Europe, and featured the top six associate members in that region – Denmark, France, Guernsey, Italy, Jersey, and Norway. Ireland, the Netherlands, and Scotland had already qualified for the World Twenty20 Qualifier, while England qualify for the World Twenty20 automatically. The host, Jersey, won the tournament on net run rate from Denmark, its first title. The leading runscorer at the tournament was Danish batsman Freddie Klokker, while the leading wicket taker was Italian bowler Carl Sandri. By winning the tournament, Jersey qualified for the 2015 World Twenty20 Qualifier in Ireland and Scotland. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is the national governing body of cricket in England and Wales. It was formed on 1 January 1997 as a single governing body to combine the roles formerly fulfilled by the Test and County Cricket Board, the National Cricket Association and the Cricket Council. Lee Savident
Lee Savident (born 22 October 1976 in Saint Martin, Guernsey) is a Guernsey cricketer who currently plays for Guernsey in international cricket. He is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium pace. He currently resides in Southampton, Hampshire. County career Savident made his first-class debut for Hampshire in the 1997 County Championship against Yorkshire. He played two further first-class matches that season against Kent and Nottinghamshire. He would have to wait two more years before playing another first-class match for Hampshire, between then he played for the Second XI, who he first represented in 1994. In that same season he made his debut in List A cricket against Middlesex. Savident was an irregular feature in the Hampshire one-day side the following season. Safyaan Mohammed Sharif (born 24 May 1991) is a Scottish cricketer. He is a right-arm fast-medium bowler and a right-handed batsman. He made his international debut for Scotland in June 2011.
