Tiaoma Town (), is an urban town in Yuhua District, Changsha, Hunan Province, China. It is surrounded by Zhaoshan Township and Muyun Town on the west, Dongjingpu Town and Huangxing Town on the north, Baijia Town and Yuntian Township on the east, and Longtoupu Town, Hetangpu Town and Baima Town on the south. When referring to political divisions of China, town is the standard English translation of the Chinese (traditional: ; ). The Constitution of the People's Republic of China classifies towns as third-level administrative units, along with for example townships (). A township is typically smaller in population and more remote than a town. Da'an Temple
Da'an Temple () is a Buddhist temple located in Yuhua District, Changsha, Hunan, China. History The original temple dates back to the Qing dynasty (1644–1911). After the founding of the Communist State, in 1952, the Communist Party launched the Land Reform Movement in which the temple was demolished. Reconstruction of the temple, commenced in 1997 and was completed in 2020.
