Thiago Santos is a Brazilian mixed martial arts fighter currently competing in the Heavyweight (MMA), Heavyweight division. A professional competitor since 2007, Santos has formerly fought for Bellator MMA and was a finalist in their Bellator Fighting Championships: Season Five#Heavyweight tournament bracket, Season Five Heavyweight Tournament. Mixed martial arts career Early career Santos made his professional MMA debut in October 2007. He fought in a one night tournament against Shamil Abdurahimov at IAFC - Mayor's Cup 2009 and won via unanimous decision. He then went on to fight Alexey Oleynik the same exact day and suffered the first loss of his career. He then rebounded from that loss by knocking out Geronimo dos Santos in the first round at Amazon Fight 3. After that fight he faced Ubiratan Marinho Lima and won via DQ at Amazon Fight 4. Neil Grove (born 18 January 1971) is a South African-English Heavyweight professional mixed martial artist. A professional competitor since 2006, Grove has competed for the UFC, Bellator Cage Rage, UCMMA, and the SFL. Background Originally from South Africa, Grove began competing in rugby at a young age. Having attended eight different schools growing up, Grove was frequently bullied being the "new kid," and often got into fights as a result. In 1996, Grove moved to London, England, where he worked as a personal trainer, sports therapist, and also worked as a bouncer at an Irish nightclub in South London. Bellator MMA (formerly Bellator Fighting Championships) was an American mixed martial arts promotion founded in 2008 by Bjorn Rebney and operated until 2025.
