Theuns Kotzé
Theuns Andries Willem 'Worsie' Kotzé (born 16 July 1987 in Karasburg, South-West Africa) is a Namibian international rugby union player, currently playing with the in South African domestic rugby. He is a utility back that can play as a scrum-half, fly-half or fullback, but is best known for playing as a fly-half for in the Rugby World Cup tournaments in 2011 and 2015. Career 2005 : Schools rugby Kotzé was born in South-West Africa – before the country gained independence from South Africa and was renamed Namibia – but grew up in Upington in South Africa's Northern Cape province. Karasburg
Karasburg ( naq, ǀNomsoros, old name af, Kalkfontein, literally "carst spring") is a town of 4,000 inhabitants in the ǁKaras Region of southern Namibia and the district capital of the Karasburg electoral constituency. It lies at the heart of the southern Namibian sheep farming industry. Location There are three main routes that lead into Karasburg. From Grünau in the west, Onseepkans in the south and the B3 national road that leads to the South African border in the east. Varsity Cup
Varsity Cup is the collective name for four South African rugby union competitions involving the top rugby playing universities in the country. It was launched in 2008, with eight teams participating in the Varsity Cup competition and each university's internal champions competing in the Koshuis Rugby Championships (now known as Res Rugby). In 2011, a second tier competition called the Varsity Shield was added, increasing the number of participating universities to thirteen. A Young Guns tournament for the Under-20 side of the Varsity Cup teams was launched in 2012. A further expansion for the 2017 season saw three additional universities added to the Varsity Shield, totalling sixteen teams. 2011 Vodacom Cup
The 2011 Vodacom Cup was contested from 25 February to 13 May 2011. The tournament was the 14th edition of the Vodacom Cup, an annual domestic South African rugby union competition, and was played between the fourteen provincial teams in South Africa, as well as Namibian side and Argentine side . The tournament was won by for the first time; they beat the 14–9 in the final played on 13 May 2011. Competition rules and information Sixteen teams participated in the 2011 Vodacom Cup competition. These teams were geographically divided into two sections, with eight teams in each of the Northern and Southern Sections. Demetri Catrakilis Demetri Catrakilis ( gr, Δημήτρης Κατρακίλης, born on 6 July 1989) is a former South African professional rugby union player for the in the Pro14.
