Theodore Robert Rufus Long (born September 15, 1947) is an American former professional wrestling Referee (professional wrestling), referee, Manager (professional wrestling), manager and Authority figure (professional wrestling), authority figure best known for his tenures in National Wrestling Alliance, NWA, WCW and WWE. Long began his career in the National Wrestling Alliance and made his WWE (then the World Wrestling Federation) debut in 1998 as a referee. He transitioned to be an on-screen Manager (professional wrestling), manager in 2003 and later served as Professional wrestling authority figures, General Manager of SmackDown (WWE brand), SmackDown for two tenures lasting a combined six years as well as a one-year stint as ECW (WWE brand), ECW General Manager. Paul Ellering (born August 22, 1953) is an American professional wrestling manager and retired professional wrestler. He is best known for his tenure in WWE, where he most notably served as the manager for the Road Warriors in the 1980s and 1990s, as well as the Authors of Pain (AOP) from 2016 to 2018, and from 2024 to 2025 as part of The Final Testament.
