''The Yuppie Fantasia 3'' is a 2017 Hong Kong comedy film written, directed by and starring Lawrence Cheng. The film is a sequel to the 1989 film, ''The Yuppie Fantasia'', and the 1990 film, ''Brief Encounter in Shinjuku''. The film was released on 26 January 2017 to celebrate the Chinese New Year, as well as marking the 30th anniversary of the original radio series of the same name created by and starred Cheng in 1986, in which the film franchise was based on. Plot Fifty-two year old Leung Foon (Lawrence Cheng) is consciously aware of the three major waves throughout half of his life. Lawrence Cheng
Lawrence Cheng Tan-shui (born 28 December 1954) is a Hong Kong film actor, director, screenwriter, producer, and master of ceremonies. He was a Hong Kong DJ and radio channel executive. Cheng became famous after he created the radio drama series ''The Yuppie Fantasia'' (小男人週記) in 1986 which he also starred in. In 1989, he starred in the film adaptation of the series which was directed by Gordon Chan and became a box office hit. Early life Cheng was born in Hong Kong on 27 November 1954. His family is from Huizhou (惠州市), Guangdong Province. Jan Lam (16 January 1838 in Stanyslaviv – 3 August 1886 in Lviv) was a Polish journalist, writer and comic, as well as a teacher in numerous schools of Galicia. Ekin Cheng
Ekin Cheng Yee Kin (born 4 October 1967) is a Hong Kong actor and singer. Early in his career, he used the name Dior as a first name (because that was what it sounded like when his younger sister tried to call him Second Brother ()). He has also been referred to his stage name Noodle (), after a popular noodle dish with a similar name and his wavy long hair. Currently Ekin is the name used.
