''The Kid Who Would Be King'' is a 2019 urban fantasy action-adventure film written and directed by Joe Cornish. A British/American venture, the film stars Louis Ashbourne Serkis, Tom Taylor, Dean Chaumoo, Rhianna Doris, Angus Imrie, Rebecca Ferguson, and Patrick Stewart. Joe Cornish
Joseph Murray Cornish (born 20 December 1968) is an English comedian and filmmaker. With Adam Buxton, he forms the comedy duo Adam and Joe. In 2011, Cornish released his directorial debut ''Attack the Block''. He also co-wrote ''The Adventures of Tintin (film), The Adventures of Tintin'' with Steven Moffat and Edgar Wright, and ''Ant-Man (film), Ant-Man'', with Wright, Adam McKay, and Paul Rudd.
