Plot As described in a film magazine, Ol' Santa Fe drops off a fast freight train passing through town. He saves an urchin that had been assisting a beggar with a bear from a severe beating and adopts him as his "Pard". Securing a job as a porter at the bank Caliente Trust Company, Santa Fe learns that bank president Rufus B. Coulter is in league with a bad gang entrenched in the foothills, who have given Sheriff Mart Fraser much trouble. Coulter receives word through the K.C. The Fox, York
The Fox is a pub in Holgate, York, England. The pub was purpose-built in 1878, replacing an earlier pub on the site. The York Carriage Works were built nearby a few years later, and it long provided the main source of patrons for the business. It was long owned by Tetley's Brewery. In 1985, it was restored under the architect George Williamson, and was then branded as a Tetley's Heritage Pub. It was Grade II listed in 1994, following a study by the Campaign for Real Ale. The pub was later sold to Punch Taverns, but closed in 2013 after the rent was increased. A proposal to bring the pub into community ownership suggested opening a post office in the building and selling bacon sandwiches during the day, but this was not taken forward. Instead, it was leased to the Ossett Brewery, which removed the kitchen and children's play area, and redecorated throughout. The Fox Inn is a public house in Green Lane, Hanwell, in the London Borough of Ealing. Built in 1848, it is a largely unspoilt and original mid-Victorian pub. It has received a 'local listing' from Ealing Council as a building of local interest. Description The pub is constructed out of local golden-yellow brick with more expensive red bricks used for detailing on corners and chimneys. Rich brown glazed tiles are used for the ground floor exterior walls with coloured stained glass in the fan lights. The upper storey has Mock Tudor detailing, including dentils on the two outward-facing gables. Most of the interior is also original, although the dividing former off-licence sales door has been closed off and its wall removed to create one large L-shaped bar area. The Fox Goes Free is a grade II listed pub in Charlton, West Sussex, England. It is a 17th-century flint building. On 9 November 1915 the inn was the venue for the first Women's Institute (WI) meeting held in England, after the first meeting in Wales on 16 September of that year. This was the inaugural meeting of the Singleton and East Dean WI (still in existence in 2015), and the landlady of the pub, Mrs Laishley, was a founder member. At one time the pub also served as the village bakery. The pub was originally known as "The Pig and Whistle" and later "The Fox" and "The Fox at Charlton", but was renamed "The Fox Goes Free" after a change of ownership in 1985.
