Edmond Keosayan
Edmond Gareginovich Keosayan (; ; 9 October 1936 – 21 April 1994) was an Armenian Soviet Union, Soviet film director and musician. * 1952-54 — worked in Yerevan watch factory. 1954-56 — studied in Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Plekhanov Moscow Institute of Economy. * 1956-58 — studied in Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography, worked as a compere. * 1964 — graduated from the Directing Department of Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography, VGIK (Efim Dzigan's master class). * Since 1964 — director at Mosfilm Studio. Occasionally worked at Armenfilm Studio. He was also a compere of the Soviet State Variety Orchestra. His films are mainly in the Armenian language, Armenian and Russian languages. He died on 21 April 1994 and was buried in the Kuntsevo Cemetery. Zoya Fyodorova
Zoya Alekseyevna Fyodorova (also Fedorova) (; 11 December 1981) was a Russian film star who had an affair with American Navy captain Jackson Tate in 1945 and bore a child, Victoria Fyodorova in January 1946. Having rejected the advances of NKVD police head Lavrentiy Beria, the affair was exposed resulting, initially, in a death sentence later reprieved to work camp imprisonment in Siberia; she was released after eight years. She was murdered in her Moscow apartment in 1981. The year before Fyodorova was murdered, she appeared in ''Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears'', which won an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 1980. Valery Benediktovich Nosik (; 9 October 1940 — 4 January 1995) was a Soviet Russian film and stage actor, the People's Artist of Russia (1994) who appeared in more than 100 films, as well as in numerous stage productions at the Moscow Pushkin Drama (1965-1972) and the Maly Theatres (1972-1995). Biography Valery Nosik was born in 1940 to Benedict Nosek, a Pole who in the 1900s came to settle in Ukraine, and 'simplified' his surname by changing a letter. He then married Alexandra Subbotina, a Russian girl from Kashira, and moved to Moscow. Valery's younger brother Vladimir Nosik was born in 1948 (to become later an actor too). As a schoolboy, Valery Nosik attended the Youth Theatre studio based at the ZiL Culture Club, where he was tutored by Sergey Stein. After the graduation he enrolled in the VGIK institute to study in Mikhail Romm's class. Sergey Nikolayevich Filippov (, 24 June 1912 — 19 April 1990) was a Soviet and Russian film and stage actor and comedian, best known for his parts in films ''Adventures of Korzinkina'' (1941), ''The Night Patrol'' (1957) and the adaptation of Ilf and Petrov's classic ''The Twelve Chairs'' (1971), which granted him the People's Artist of the RSFSR title in 1974. Biography Filippov was born in Saratov. His father was a factory turner, his mother a dressmaker. Expelled from school for bad behaviour (involving, reportedly, dangerous experiments in the cabinet of a chemistry teacher), he tried several jobs (a baker’s boy, a carpenter, a turner) before joining a ballet studio, which in 1929 sent him to Moscow for further education.
