''The Burial Plot Bidding War'' is the first EP by American metalcore band Every Time I Die. Songs "Prom Song" and "Your Touch Versus Death" were previously on their 1999 demo tape. The EP was first released on Good Fellow Records in January 2000, then reissued by Undecided Records in June 2004 with different artwork. Every Time I Die
Every Time I Die was an American metalcore band from Buffalo, New York, formed in 1998. For most of the band's career, the line-up was centred on brothers Keith (vocals) and Jordan Buckley (guitar), as well as rhythm guitarist Andy Williams, with bassist Stephen Micciche also being in the band for a cumulative 15 of the band's 24 years. After spending the first decade of their career on the Ferret Music label, they signed with Epitaph Records in 2008 and remained there until their split in early 2022. Every Time I Die released nine studio albums, with their final album '' Radical'' being released in October 2021. The band garnered acclaim for their energetic and intense live shows, as well as their constantly evolving sound – with ''Kerrang!'' noting that the band "shaped the cutting edge of modern metalcore." Keith Buckley
Keith Buckley (born November 19, 1979) is an American singer, best known as the vocalist and lyricist of Many Eyes, the now defunct metalcore band Every Time I Die and the heavy metal supergroup The Damned Things. He is also a published author. Early life and education Buckley was born in Kingston, New York. He grew up in Buffalo, New York. He attended Virginia Tech and then the University at Buffalo before doing music full-time. He is also a former English teacher. Career Every Time I Die In 1998, Buckley established the band Every Time I Die with his brother, Jordan, in Buffalo, New York. He described Every Time I Die as a "Buffalo Bills tailgate party and a high school kegger". One of Buckley's writing tactics was to "get incoherently drunk" and see what comes out. On January 4, 2006, Buckley and Every Time I Die were in a van accident but escaped unharmed. On December 4, 2021, Buckley announced that he was taking a hiatus from the band for his mental health. Andy Williams (guitarist)
Andrew J. Williams (born December 12, 1977) is an American musician and professional wrestler, best known as the former rhythm guitarist of the metalcore band Every Time I Die. As a wrestler, he is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) under the ring name The Butcher, where he is one-half of a tag team with The Blade. Musical career Williams had aspired to be a professional wrestler and trained at Renegade Wrestling Association in Ontario, Canada for six months, until he sustained a knee injury. During the layoff, he learned to play the guitar, and formed Every Time I Die alongside lead guitarist Jordan Buckley and drummer Michael Novak. He has appeared on every release that the band has done, and had not missed a live show, until January 2020, when he wrestled Diamond Dallas Page and Dustin Rhodes at Bash at the Beach. Metalcore
Metalcore is a broadly defined fusion genre combining elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk, originating in the 1990s United States and becoming popular in the 2000s.
