''The Book of Chad'' is the debut studio album by South African hip hop record producer and rapper Chad da Don. The album was released on 16 April 2016 on his record label DCM Entertainment. The album debuted and peaked at No. 1 on the Hip Hop / Rap chart the South African iTunes Store, and was made available for streaming on Apple Music and Tidal. Chad (rapper)
Donovan Chad Mansoor (born 16 April 1993), known mononymously as Chad (and previously as Chad Da Don), is a South African hip-hop record producer, songwriter and rapper. Chad released his debut studio album '' The Book of Chad'' on 16 April 2016, his 23rd birthday. Background Chad was born and raised in Pretoria and eventually relocated to Midrand in his teenage years. Chad had started a Christian rap group while he was a teenager, but went solo shortly after. While growing up, Chad played football and represented South Africa in the under-14 national squad. The tournament was hosted in Zurich. Musical career Chad released his debut single titled "Hola", featuring his then label-boss Cassper Nyovest. Tweezy
Tumelo Thandokuhle Mathebula (born 24 October 1992), professionally known as Tweezy, is a South African record producer and rapper from Johannesburg, South Africa. Early life and career Tumelo Mathebula moved to Johannesburg in the Gauteng Province after the passing of his parents at the age of 6. He was introduced to a music making software called FL Studio in grade 10 which he thought was a "music making game", he later discovered that it was in fact a music making software. He joined a music group called "Ghetto Prophecy" that consisted of 8 members. The group produced a song called "Oh My" which ranked number 16 on the top 40 songs of YFM and was played frequently on Metro FM as well as 5FM in 2011. The group unfortunately disbanded because of the lack of funding which is when Tweezy decided to venture into the music industry as a producer. Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo (born 11 February 1997), known professionally as Nasty C, is a South African rapper, songwriter, and record producer. After releasing three mixtapes, one being "Undisputed" and two EPs, Ngcobo released his debut album '' Bad Hair'' (2016), and '' Strings and Bling'' (2018) which was associated and supported by his first tour, ''The Ivyson Tour''. Refiloe Maele Phoolo (born 16 December 1990), professionally known as Cassper Nyovest, is a South African rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, record producer and amateur boxer. Brian Soko (born 1991) is a Zimbabwean songwriter and record producer who is based in the United States. He won three awards at the 2014 edition of the Broadcast Music Inc (BMI) R&B/Hip-Hop Awards for composing Beyoncé's song, "Drunk in Love", in 2014 and a Grammy Award for his production work on the same song. Locnville (sometimes abridged as LCNVL) is a South African electro hop music duo. Identical twin brothers Andrew and Brian Chaplin formed Locnville in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2009.
