Than Khoáng Sản Việt Nam Women's Football Club (), simply known as Than KSVN, is a Vietnam, Vietnamese women's association football, football club based in Quảng Ninh. The club plays in the Vietnamese Women's Football Championship. They currently play at Cẩm Phả Stadium. History The club was founded in 1998 as Than Việt Nam W.F.C in Quảng Ninh, Vietnam. The club had participated in all editions of the Vietnamese Women's Football Championship since its creation, having won 2 titles in 2007 and 2012. Than KSVN won their first Vietnamese Women's National Cup, Vietnamese Cup title in 2023. Vietnamese Women's Football Championship
The Vietnamese Women's National League, officially the Women's National League (), also called the Thai Son Bac Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the highest league of women's association football, women's football in Vietnam. The league was established in 1998 and is currently contested by 8 teams. Defending champions Hồ Chí Minh City I W.F.C., Ho Chi Minh City have won the most championships with 13 titles. History In 1998, the first tournament was held with two teams involved: Hồ Chí Minh City I W.F.C., Ho Chi Minh City and Hà Nội I W.F.C., Hanoi. Hà Nội I W.F.C., Hanoi won the league's first championship and also holds the record of ten championships. Currently the tournament involves 8 teams. The Vietnamese Women's National League was the first football tournament for women in Southeast Asia. Cẩm Phả Stadium
Cẩm Phả Stadium () is a multi-use stadium located in Cẩm Phả, Quảng Ninh Province, Vietnam. The stadium has a capacity of 20,000 seats and mostly used for football matches. It is the best quality stadium in Quảng Ninh Province and was the home stadium of Than Quảng Ninh before the club dissolved in August 2021. History The stadium was renovated and upgraded in 2010 which cost 37 billion Vietnamese Dong (around 1.7 million US Dollar). This include renovating and upgrading the A, B, C, D stands, the press and TV broadcast room at B stand. The stadium was also installed with new lighting system that meet national standard, electronic score board, outdoor track, and other improvements on the stadium campus and parking lot. 2024 Vietnamese Women's Football Championship
