Thad Moffitt
Thaddeus Drake Moffitt (born September 12, 2000) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 46 Toyota for Nitro Motorsports. He previously competed in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Racing career Early career Growing up in a racing family, Moffitt cut his teeth in go-karts at age fourteen and later moved up to quarter midgets and limited late models, running at tracks like Caraway Speedway and Ace Speedway. Speaking about having racers in the family, he said that advice will be given upon request but also that older relatives wanted him to develop without help. The 2021 Bush's Beans 200 was the 18th stock car race of the 2021 ARCA Menards Series season, the eighth and final race of the 2021 ARCA Menards Series East season, the ninth race of the 2021 Sioux Chief Showdown, and the second iteration of the event. The race was held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 in Bristol, Tennessee, at Bristol Motor Speedway, a 0.533 miles (0.858 km) permanent oval-shaped racetrack. Ace Speedway
Ace Speedway is a oval stock car racing track in Altamahaw, North Carolina. The track was constructed by Roy Maddren and opened in 1956 as a dirt oval. In 1984, the track was expanded to a dirt oval. In 1990, under the ownership of Fred and Jim Turner, the track was paved and was under the NASCAR Winston Racing Series banner. In 1999, the track was re-expanded to a mile paved oval, the pits was expanded and other stuff was added to the track such as new bleachers. Currently, the track runs CARS Tour. Caraway Speedway is a short track located near Asheboro, North Carolina, U.S. Caraway Speedway was built in 1966 as a dirt track. The track was paved in 1972 and joined the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series family as a asphalt short track. Caraway Speedway was owned and operated by Russell and Valastra Hackett from 1977 to 2010. Russell turned over operations to Darren and Renee Hackett for the 2011 season.
