The Textielprijs Vichte is a Belgian cycling race that was organized for the first time in 1928. With Vichte as both start and finish place, the course is situated in the region of West-Flanders. Vichte
Vichte is a village in the municipality of Anzegem, in the south of West Flanders, Flanders, Belgium. It has 4,345 inhabitants (2004). Small, densely populated village with an important textile industry. Famous for its 12th century Roman Catholic church (now serving as a cultural centre) and its privately owned castle constructed by the Iseux family in the 16th century giving the village original coat of arms (D'or frette de sable). The most famous member of this family was Jeanne Iseux, Dame de la Vichte et des deux treilles, who married the Baron de la Croix de Drumez. Crelan–Euphony () was a UCI Professional Continental cycling team based in Belgium that participated in UCI Continental Circuits races and when selected as a wildcard to UCI ProTour events. The team was managed by Gérard Bulens, with assistance from directeur sportifs Jef De Bilde, Claude Criquielion, Marco Saligari and Claude Van Collie. Despite the fact that it was never a top team, they had a 3rd place in the GC of the 2003 Giro d'Italia, thanks to later Discovery Channel and Astana rider Yaroslav Popovych. The team underwent many different name changes throughout its existence, but was always sponsored by Palmans, an international road transport company.
