Nurullah Tevfik Ağansoy (1960, Topcular, Istanbul – August 28, 1996, Bebek, Istanbul) was a Turkish mob boss and former Grey Wolves member who was involved in the Susurluk scandal. After the 1980 Turkish coup, he was arrested and sentenced to 16 years in prison for his role in shootings, bombings, and a murder. In 1986, he was charged with a further five murders and began cooperating with Turkish intelligence. He was released in 1989. Mehmet Tevfik Biren (1867 – 1956) was an Ottoman government official and liberal politician of the short-lived Ottoman Liberty Party. He was in favor of signing the Treaty of Sèvres. Hüseyin Tevfik Pasha (1832 in Vidin, Ottoman Empire (now in Bulgaria) – 16 June 1901 in Constantinople (now Istanbul)) was a mathematician from the Ottoman Empire and military adjutant representing the Ottoman Empire in the purchase of foreign rifles. He is remembered for his ''Linear Algebra'' (1882, 1892) which outlined some vector algebra including a "special perpendicular" (cross product) and properties of curves. The book title was precocious since the early vector algebra was generalized in vector space, and this concept later produced linear algebra. Celal Tevfik Karasapan (1899–1974) was a Turkish diplomat and politician who served as the director of National Security between 1959 and 1960 and minister of press, broadcasting and tourism between 1962 and 1963.
