Tero Seppälä
Tero Seppälä (born 25 January 1996) is a Finnish biathlete who competes internationally. Seppälä's best result in the Biathlon World Cup is 5th, which he has achieved twice during the season 2021-2022. The first time was in the pursuit in Östersund and the second time was in the sprint in Ruhpolding. He participated in the 2018 Winter Olympics. Järvenpää (; , ; ) is a town in Finland, located in the southern interior of the country. Järvenpää is situated in the centre of the Uusimaa region in the immediate vicinity of Lake Tuusula. The Biathlon World Championships 2021 took place in Pokljuka, Slovenia, from 9 to 21 February 2021. Host selection On 4 September 2016, Tyumen won the voting (25 votes) during the 12th IBU Congress in Chișinău in Moldova over Pokljuka in Slovenia (13 votes) and Nové Město na Moravě in the Czech Republic (11 votes). Also Antholz-Anterselva, Italy, withdrew their bid for 2021 championships before the vote took place due to winning of an election for the host of the 2020 event. Biathlon World Championships 2024
The 2024 Biathlon World Championships took place from 7 to 18 February 2024 at the Vysočina Arena in Nové Město na Moravě, Czech Republic. After 2013, the championship was held for the second time in this location. The event was the highlight of the 2023–24 Biathlon World Cup, but was not included in its rankings (except for the national rankings). A total of 12 events were held: sprint, pursuit, individual, mass start and relay races for both men, women, single mixed relay and a mixed relay.
