Tennebø
Tennebø is a village in Kinn Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is a suburb of the town of Måløy, the centre of which is located about away. The village of Deknepollen, another suburb of Måløy lies about to the northwest. The lake Degnepollvatnet is just north of the village of Tennebø. The village sits along the Skavøypollen, a small bay off the main Nordfjorden. To the east, the village of Bryggja is about away. The population in 1999 was 481, but since 2001 it has been considered a part of the urban area of Måløy, so specific population figures are not available. Kinn Municipality
Kinn is a municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It was established on 1 January 2020. It is in the traditional districts of Nordfjord and Sunnfjord. The municipality is the only non-contiguous municipality in Norway since the municipality of Bremanger lies in between the north and south parts of Kinn. The administrative centres of the municipality is the two cities of Florø and Måløy. Some villages in the municipality include Rognaldsvåg, Stavang, Grov, Norddalsfjord, Nyttingnes, Steinhovden, Brandsøy, Deknepollen, Holvika, Kvalheim, Langeneset, Raudeberg, Refvika, Silda, Tennebø, Vedvika, and Vågsvåg. Bjørg Sandal
Bjørg Kirsten Sandal (born 2 March 1955) is a Norwegian director and politician for the Labour Party. She is from Tennebø in Sogn og Fjordane, and a sister of fellow politician Reidar Sandal. A cand.mag. by education, she was hired to the Phillips Petroleum Company in Norway in 1987. During the first cabinet Stoltenberg, Sandal was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. Bryggja is a village in southwestern part of Stad Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located on the mainland, along the northern shore of the Nordfjorden (Sogn og Fjordane), Nordfjorden. The village is located about east of the urban areas of Måløy–Deknepollen–Tennebø in Kinn Municipality and it is about west of the village of Stårheim. Degnepollvatnet
Degnepollvatnet or Deknepollvatnet (known locally as ''Polljavatnet'') is a lake in Kinn Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The lake is situated on the mainland between the small villages of Degnepoll and Tennebø, just east of the town of Måløy. The Norwegian national road 15 highway runs near the southern shore of the lake. Degnepollvatnet is a popular spot for fishing and swimming during the summer. During the winter, the lake is widely used for ice skating, but the most recent winters have not provided adequate cold weather for it to freeze. The lake has been used as a source of drinking water. Deknepollen
Degnepoll or Deknepollen is a neighborhood in Kinn Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. Deknepollen is located on the mainland and it is an eastern suburb of the town of Måløy (which is located on the island of Vågsøy), which it is connected to by a long Måløy Bridge. It is also located about west of the village of Bryggja. The village of Tennebø is located about southeast of Deknepollen, with the lake Degnepollvatnet located between the two villages. Before the Måløy Bridge was constructed, there was a ferry from Deknepollen to Måløy. The name Deknepollen could be roughly translated as a "small fjord arm by the deacon". Nordfjorden (Sogn Og Fjordane)
Nordfjorden is the sixth longest fjord in Norway. It flows through the municipalities of Stryn, Gloppen, Stad, Bremanger, and Kinn, and it is the central feature of the entire Nordfjord region which makes up the northern third of the county. The long fjord stretches from Husevågøy island in Kinn Municipality to the village of Loen in Stryn Municipality. The fjord starts as runoff from the Jostedalsbreen, Europe's largest mainland glacier, in the east and it flows west, emptying into the ocean just south of the Stadlandet peninsula. The mouth of the fjord lies between the large islands of Vågsøy and Bremangerlandet (with the smaller island of Husevågøy lying in the middle of the mouth).
