Team USF1
US F1 Team was a proposed Formula One team that was granted entry to the 2010 Formula One season, 2010 season. However, the team stopped work on its car and did not compete in 2010. It informed the FIA that it was not in a position to race and was removed from the official entry list. The team was fronted by former Stewart Haas Racing, Haas CNC Racing technical director Ken Anderson (motorsport), Ken Anderson and journalist (and former WilliamsF1, Williams and Scuderia Ferrari, Ferrari manager) Peter Windsor. US F1 was aiming to be the only F1 team based outside Europe, with their factory located in Charlotte, North Carolina, Charlotte, North Carolina. The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA; ) is an international organisation with two primary functions surrounding use of the automobile. Its mobility division advocacy, advocates the interests of motoring organisations, the automotive industry and motor car users in the fields of road safety and Traffic, traffic circulation. The sport division is a governing body for many international motorsport championships and disciplines, including Formula One. The FIA was formally established on 20 June 1904. James Rossiter
James Stuart Rossiter (born 25 August 1983) is a British former professional racing driver, British motorsport executive and former team principal of Maserati MSG Racing in Formula E. He was a test driver for British American Racing, BAR, Honda in Formula One, Honda, Super Aguri F1, Super Aguri and Force India in Formula One and was due to drive for the proposed US F1 Team in the 2010 Formula One World Championship, 2010 season. Before joining Maserati, Rossiter was the sporting director and reserve driver for DS Techeetah and raced for Peugeot Sport in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
